Fog of horror (for my Cameras)

Hello guys,
my Dahua cameras have a very strange problem today: outside is foggy and the cameras don't detect any movement, neither car, nor people, as long as the IR light is on.
When I turn IR off, the picture becomes clearer and the cameras detect people and cars again and report the intrusion.

Does anyone have a working solution to this problem?

You are getting infrared bounce off the fog. It is common when using built in IR.

Run external infrared slightly away from the camera.

Common for domes. Bullets and turrets generally don't suffer from this.

There are 2 bullets and an SD5A225XA-HNR, they all have the same problem. It's not the first fog they see, but they haven't experienced one like this before.
