Purchased an OEM DS-7608NI-K2/8P online a while ago (being OEM is displays as "DT608-H2/P8" under system settings).
Currently running Firmware version: 3.4.96 build 171128
Email alerts will not work - specifically basic or smart event alerts (general device alerts sill work fine such as device offline)
Having done a bit of reading, I suspect there is a bug in my current firmware.
Went down the path of contacting the seller of my NVR who provided the following firmware: "NVR_K51_BL_ML_NEU_V4.30.055_201111"
Annoyingly this firmware will not apply (just says "upgrading failed" when I try to upload via the web UI).
Would assume I have been given the incorrect firmware.
