Hi guys,

I have a question about firmware.
this is the current installed software:
V1.0.2 Build 201512121703

i asked for latest software just before delivery and i got this:
IPNC_S2l1.0.2_build201512051802

seems the first letters are the date. are the last ones(1703-1802) the time or the actual firmware version.?
or are these the same version V1.0.2?

My model specifics:

Model: HS-RDC205FIPT-KS20IC

looks like the current installed version is the latest version or am i incorrect?

this is second case of loading incorrect firmware. Please edit the post to specify it's for speed dome.

Looks like last numbers are time, which is kind of scary. They are upgrading firmware so fast they need a way to distinguish between builds from the same day?

For lack of a better place to post this (and hoping Google finds it) you can get the -10 degree tilt by hitting 'up' 'right' 'down' 'left' 'up' (on the PTZ controls) and going through the on-screen menus. There's also some additional auto tracking settings in there (particularly object size) that may be useful to some of you.

You can also call preset 95 if you would rather not try to emulate the fatality move on Mortal Kombat.

A bit of a video primer

Oddly enough preset 95 did nothing on the two I bought from $random-china but I was happy to accidentally stumble across the alternate way to do it. It might also be beneficial to people using NVR software.

Just did the -10 tilt on mine via preset 95 and while it is good during daylight you do get some IR reflection off the glass at night.
Well at least on mine anyway

i think the build numbers are not important. i guess the software Version only matters (V1.0.2 for instance)
not for sure though.

Hi everyone! I wonder if this firmware is working with Speed dome with auto tracking, model number DM-RDC205FHPT-KS20HB? My camera is still running on this version:
Program version: V1.0.2 Build 201509160901
Control version: ZoomCam_V1.0.2_build201509241507

Could someone let me know of link me to the correct firmware for this model?

Thanks all.

Probably yes but I cannot garantee it. Someone already has Bricker his cam with this firmware although it wasn't a speed dome.

I asked Monica if she could make a support page tab which holds all firmware updates for all cam ranges. She said they will but it takes time.

Yes, I asked her on several occasions, she didn't even know they had a website when a I sent her a screenshot of huisuncctv.com!
