Though most of my cameras are a mix of 4K-T, 4K-X, 4K-T180, 5442T-ZE, and T5442TM-AS, I still use five N55DU82 around the house as a deterrent. I always test new firmware out on a spare camera before updating the others, and so today I uploaded newest firmware for this camera: 2.840.0000000.27.R Build Date: 2024-03-22. It's a huge upgrade for a Macintosh user like me. I can finally use Chrome on the Mac and reliably change the settings on the cameras. Before this, I would always have to pull out a PC and use Internet Explorer. The speed improvement is noticeable with the interface. Anyway, I thought I'd pass this on, in case someone saw this new firmware update on the Dahua site and wondered if it would be worthwhile to update.
