Just kidding. I would never harm these little birds but I have to admit that this little guy is really fat. Guess I shouldn't be feeding them so much. Maybe I should name him 'Fat Albert'. :D

so yeh dont eat em? do you get eggs or is it just in it for fun?

Was pretty common where I grew up for there to be a few pheasant in the chicken coops, eggs are small but good... mostly raised for the meat tho.

They devoured the pigs head so I had to get another flock block yesterday. I wonder what they'll carve this time?

I don't know where they lay their eggs but I get many chicks showing up in the Spring. I just feed them for the fun of it and the camera captures. They're used to me feeding them, so they come running when I throw out the grain. :)

This is the new Flock Block. You can see the remnants of the old one (pig-head) on the left side. This particular ESC camera gets close-up captures of anything that moves including ants, beetles, slugs, worms, spiders, mice, raccoon's and of course cats, but mostly birds and squirrels during the day. :)
