External IR Power

To those that are running external IR, how are you running the power to them? I used POE for my cams and the location I'm looking to add extra IR is a decent sized run. Is it possible to power an external IR + cam from a single cable run with a POE splitter?

I'm running a dahua 5231-E camera and 7 watts of IR using a POE splitter. Camera's IR is off. The power draw is close to the limit of the non-plus POE port. Cable length is about 200'.

I would make a separate run with 18/2 for the IR projector, Especially if its a big projector.
