If your camera supports this action then it is the camera that you will want to setup that function.. I have some cameras that are color night cameras that have 1/1.8in sensor and f/1.0 and even with smart IL turned on the White leds don't come on. In that camera no option in the camera to turn on leds on event. However another camera one that is setup for active deterrence does have this option and can be setup in the cameras WebUI.. However to be fair it can also be changed within the NVR but not as clear to do so.. So with that said. If your NVR supports that option then here is where I found it on mine and your setup should be same if it is supported. My guess is that if you are asking then it might not be.. You will want to go to your NVRs IVS area. On my NVR off main menu I click on Ai settings, under Event, Then i click on IVS, Then I click on the channel I want to change. Then right there under the rule box is my Audio and Light settings, Click on light for the type of rule you want to make the change on. In my case I will pick IVS Tripwire 3 then click on the settings next to the Remote Warning light and I can change from Always on to Flicker and how long I want it to be on once triggered..
Now there are some cool things as well that you can do with this on the NVR.. Just like the NVR can PTZ a camera from a preset caused by the trigger of another camera. The same is true for your NVR that has the option of turning on and off Warning lights.. So on lets say my Audio Alarm Ai camera that don't offer light action events. However the NVR knows I have other cameras that do.. So when that event lets say Tripwire 4 that is setup for cars going by on my road that is 50+ feet from the corner of my house I can have it turn on the LEDs on an Light Enabled camera that is 100 feet from the road. So in the picture below is for channel 8 but camera with Audio alarm option only is channel 6 when I click on the light option and add the option it pops up with a list of cameras with the option in this case channel 7. So when I enable IVS 4 to turn on light when IVS 4 is trigged it will turn on a light from another camera.. Just like a spotter camera on a NVR can tell a PTZ to go to a Preset..
