End of the Future?

Reality is that this is the end of a north south freeway in our city that has been in construction for over 20+ years and rumor says at least another 15+ years to complete. It is a connection freeway from Interstate 90 to 395N.

Just boring info......

US395 Starts North in Riley Oregon connecting to US20
Ends at Interstate 15 at Hesperia.

A tip in case anyone ever wonders, if its a EVEN 3 then its west to east. ( sorry in Calif)
Off #s are North to south.
They burned that in our heads when I first started driving truck.
And our late pres Eisenhower created the Interstate highway system to help the military. it was specced to handle the heavy weight of military vehicles so they could travel coast to coast fast.
I've driven alot of US highways to go east and have seen alot of small towns, if you ever get the chance, DRIVE THOSE OLD ROADS.
Alot of truck drivers drive them in on I80 from Chicago to Ohio. the toll kills a driver, it was like 40.00 per toll stop.
