Enable motion sensor makes my camera goes nuts

When I enable motion sensor and when recording is triggered for me, my camera goes nuts and starts rotating and reaches its gimbal limit. Then when I try to point it at a preset, it goes there but then keeps on moving. This only happens when motion sensor is enabled and when recording is triggered. It's unusable for me and I have no idea how to fix it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Don't purchase no-name cheap Wifi cams if you expect them to actually work.

That said, You can try to set the camera back to factory defaults, then set it up again from scratch, see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, this is my first foray into IP Cams. I tried factory reset on the cam but no change. The camera seems decent in every other way. Optics are great and all other functions work with BI - except, arguably, the most important.

Also, Blue Iris won't record a trigger unless I check "trigger with min duration", and that causes gimbal spasm so it looks lik/e I'm out of luck.

As we have seen from many NOOB (and I was one once too and thought the same thing) you only think the optics are great because you are looking at static images.

Post a video at night of an object in motion - it is probably blur/ghosting.

I have boxes full of cheap cams before I found this site LOL.
