Hi,
The emailed photos I am getting from the NVR for motion detection alarms are about 5 seconds older than the trigger time, so are often empty as the person who set it off has already left the scene!
Any way to get the snapshot from the moment of trigger sent?

Imagine if someone asked you "how do I set a FM radio preset in my car's digital radio"?

More info needed!
  • make and model of NVR?
  • make and model of camera?

Apologies, I figured it was something horribly simple...

Dahua NVR4104-P-4KS2/L
Dahua 5MP IP Dome Camera Starlight POE WDR IVS IP67 IK10 IPC-HDBW2531E-S-S2

i would look at adjusting some of the options in this menu.....
I also wonder if there is something at the Cam GUI that would let you send email images too?

Ok also in the camera you maybe able to send emails. Is that true anybody? or is this going to be blocked because it's on an NVR subnet?
Looks like you can grab 5 snapshots on this cam.
I never understood why you would Call something "Record delay"
Why yes! I'd like to wait until the motion has already happened and then have the camera email me a blank image.
Do they mean Pre-record? Like capture the 10 seconds before the motion and parse 3-5 images from that?
:idk:
