email alerts..

Hey All.. New to Hikvision cameras.. using email alerts and they filled up my gmail is no time

I've only been able to reduce the file size of of the images by changing the main steam quality down.. Anyone know of another way to do it? Also, I can't find a way to change how many images get emailed out (3 are being sent now)... any help appreciated.

The motion detection is pretty sensitive so you will get a lot of false alarms, you can turn down the sensitivity or use line crossing instead for alerts.

The purpose of 3 images is to show you movement and obviously whats happening, the interval setting is the time apart those images are but I believe it's always 3.

Which camera/NVR are you using to send the alerts?
