Hi everyone, glad to join this awesome forum.
I need to use a DS-7604NI-SE/P on an old installation with 4 cameras. Everything is working fine and the building owner doesn't currently want to invest more.
It seems I can't figure out the following:
1. The NVR uses firmware V2.3.9 build 140820, I can't find any newer firmware on Hikvision website. I know this device is a bit old but I'm sure there suppose to be firmware somewhere?
2. I've tried setting up the HikVision HiDDNS with hik-online.com on the NVR. I've enable the DDNS, choose a name and click on Save but nothing happens and I can't connect to the NVR from the app.
3. On the NVR screen itself using the browser I'm able to see the 4 cameras connected, and when I select them they both play and record on the main screen. But if I disconnect from the browser it seems they stop recording? What am I missing here?
Really stumped on this one. Any tips or help would be great.
