Hey,
I'm a security systems installer. My client wanted to control a Satel alarm and an intercom from a single touchscreen panel. To make that happen, I got a Hikvision DS-KH9510-WTE1(B) monitor and installed the Perfecta Control and Integra Control apps on it. I managed to configure the intercom functions, but I can't get the monitor to provide internet access for the apps—they just don’t get any connection. To clarify right away, the settings are correct: DNS, gateway, subnet mask, and static IP are all properly configured. The monitor definitely has internet access since the HikConnect service status shows as online.
One thing I did notice, though, is that logging into HikConnect directly from the main menu button doesn’t work.
I also tried connecting via WiFi—both with and without PoE—but no luck. Even providing a rock-solid internet connection through a phone hotspot didn’t help. I reached out to Hikvision support, but all they could say was, "Weird, it works on our end."
All apps have full permissions granted in the system settings. Any ideas on what could be causing this? The indoor panel is brand new, straight out of the box. Firmware is up to date.
