try updating IVMS, you need it, especially with that new firmware

Hi,
My envinonment:
192.168.5.23 - Asterisk
192.168.5.100 - DS-KD8003-IME1
I turned on UPD packet loger
ngrep -W byline -d any udp and dst host 192.168.5.23 and src host 192.168.5.100
And there are no any packets flow
Then I changed default port on my SIP server to the 5065
On the SIP server-> "asterisk -r" to see what happens
On the DS-KD8003-IME1 5065 and save
And result is:

-- Added contact 'sip:7200@192.168.5.100:5060' to AOR '7200' with expiration of 3600 seconds
== Endpoint 7200 is now Reachable

Seams like port 5060 on the DS-KD8003-IME1 is reserved or it is a bug - try to change it to not default

No, port 5065 is used by the indoor panels, they register on the 8003 on port 5065...

5060 is used as listening port, if you configure/enable the sip on the 8003, you should leave it default...

It depends what you want to do

You can also register a trunk on the 8003, so you can have an incoming call without setting up sip on the 8003 device., But there is no audio...

I setup a trunk in asterisk to register as extension my first indoor panel, that works with audio...
Advantage, early video still works on indoor panels, and if asterisk goes down, then the system still works, so basically I'm using the private sip protocol , instead of configuring sip itself. Much stabler and also hikconnect cloud will still work
