DS-7616NI-I2/16P or 7700 series NVR for home use

Hey all,

Looking to upgrade from an existing HIKVISION DS7616NI-E2 (passing it on to family member) to a HIKVISION DS-7616NI-I2/16P.

Also looking to purchase 4 x DS-2CD2385FWD-I to upgrade existing cams, will be running on existing cat 6 cabling.

Any experiences would be much appreciated.

On a side note and excuse my ignorance but has anyone had any experience with the 7700 series NVRs? Would it be overkill to go this version rather than the HIKVISION DS-7616NI-I2/16P for a home?

I would also consider the DS-2DE4A220IW-DE camera just for the front of the house as some of the videos on youtube seem outstanding.

The 2385 cams are ok for the day
Have a look at there low light cameras there amazing at night
And the 220 ptz is a good ptz camera it runs low illumination and it’s intrusion detection with auto tracking works ok
