DS-7608NI-E2 Live View Issues

Hi All,

I am having issues with live viewing via web browser or the app using DS-2CD2T42WD-I5 or DS-2CD2342WD-I at multiple sites.

The cameras that usually fault seem to be in high traffic areas out in front yards or driveways and never seem to have an issue in alfresco's or backyards. The issue doesn't happen at night only during the hours of 10am - 4pm and seems to be more prevalent on a bright sunny day.

To fix the issue I usually have to lower the fps and play around with bitrate and quality settings.

I'd just like to know what the recommended bitrate and settings would be to setup the record stream for 4mp cameras and if anyone else has had this issue also?

I can't seem to lock down the correct settings and sometimes it seem like i'm changing settings but nothing is really applying.

I would try 10fps up to 15, bitrate 8000. Have you tried setting down to 3mp you won't miss much quality at all and perhaps your system could handle lower settings better and worth a try.
