Like the title says DS-2CD2742FWD-IZS can’t control pan or tilt from NVR DS-7616NI-I2/16P. I can control the zoom and focus. I’m new to this stuff. Wondering if there’s something in the setup that I missed? Any assistance greatly appreciated!

That camera is not a pan tilt....it's a motorized varifocal...Like the title says DS-2CD2742FWD-IZS can’t control pan or tilt from NVR DS-7616NI-I2/16P. I can control the zoom and focus. Well, that explains a lot. The amazon description was confusing because there are multiple sellers and it’s difficult to sort out what you are buying. I got it on a Warehouse Deal for $170 shipped, so I think it’s still a great deal. And it appears to be US/international version so I can upgrade firmware, right?
