DS-2CD2335FWD-I fw v5.5.1 resolution issue

If any of you are running the 2335 with fw 5.5.1 can you confirm an oddity i seem to be finding, Resolution change in Video/Audio > Video, there seems to be no change in real time resolution between 2048*1536 and 1920*1080 ... maybe a FW glitch unless i am the only one seeing the issue, all other settings appear to be ok including the new scene change inclusion
 
After some more testing using fw 5.5.51 my advice is miss this release, stick at 5.5.4
The resolution changes work with 5.5.4 and do not work with 5.5.51
5.5.51 has some weird artifacting when changing image settings right across the whole image, these odd patterns mostly clear up but accasionaly do not
and i cant put my finger on it but the overall image was not as good as 5.5.4 ?? no idea what was different but at night the image just was not as good as 5.5.4 or previous fw
Scene change was an addition to 5.5.51 but it most definately is not a must have option
