DS-2CD2142FWD-IWS Out of Focus

I've had the above dome camera working okay since I got it but its now out of focus. It still works as normal but further away images and all faces, text is blurry. Is there any manual way to open up the dome and adjust the lens?

I had the same problem with the same camera. The camera was blurry from the beginning. Luckily, I was able to fix the problem. I removed the dome and took out the 3 screws holding IR array that surrounds the lens. Once that's off, you'll see clear glue that goes the camera housing just below the lens. I removed the glue using an X-ACTO knife, being careful to not scratch the lens. Once the glue is removed, you'll be able to turn the lens to focus properly. You'll probably want to see the live camera feed while you're making the adjustment so that the process goes more quickly. Best of luck!
