I have one old hikvision DS-2CD2032-I, it's recording in blue iris but somehow any motion is not being triggered. I tried to check the settings on the camera and BI, but haven't been able to find the root cause.

Thanks.

Can you post your trigger settings for this camera? Are you using the built-in motion detection of the camera to trigger Blue Iris? Or are you using BI to detect the motion based on changed pixels?

If you want the camera to be doing the triggering, you need to check the ONVIF/camera events.

And in the Video tab in BI you need to check the pull ONVIF triggers box.

Hi wittaj,

I didn't see any ONVIF setting in the camera itself. I've made the changes in BI, but it's still doesn't trigger any motion. what else am i missing? Thanks.

Have you confirmed the camera actually triggers?

Hit the find/inspect button and post what shows up in the pop-up window.
