Does it help BI if I use QoS settings on my router

When I first set up my wifi cameras, I set the QOS for all them to the highest. Does this help prevent dropped frames ect with BI. Below is an article which talks about QoS.

QoS on a home router is designed only to control traffic to and from the internet, and it does not require or expect apps to be QoS aware. It is designed to benefit services which require low latency, low jitter, and high reliability. Such as Skype or a real-time video game. Blue Iris would likely get penalized by a decent QoS system in a home router. So, to answer your question, QoS will not help Blue Iris.
