DMSS no Video with NVR5208-8P-4KS2E

Hello,

i have setuped the ipc on the nvr (NVR5208-8P-4KS2E), all worked fine. i can see them on browser all working.


i now added the nvr to DMSS app, it was found and also show the available ipc ... but i can not show video, instant go to error connection failed-channel1/2/3...

Did you setup by IP/domain? or QR code?

You would have to add the NVR to DMSS and view the cam through that.
The IPC is likely to have a default user/pass that needs to be setup if you have not initialized the camera yet.

I can plug a new dahua IPC into an NVR and view it on browser.
but until I visit the Web GUI and get past the admin/admin setup page, I cannot do anything else with the camera.

thanks. i have already setup all ipc. they are in network.

i added nvr via qr-code to dmss
i now installed other app. easy viewer plus, that was linked to the nvr and there it works fine.

i do not know why dmss not working

I might try adding the NVR by IP/Domain

thank you, you are right!

i added nvr via IP and now it works.

my problem is, that this will only work if my smartphone is on local lan. if i go mobile data it will not work.

You will have to research that problem. I'm sure there is a way to make that happen. Perhaps it has something to do with P2P being enabled or setting up a DDNS inside the NVR....not sure past this point....
I'm sure you will prevail :)
