The HDW4233C is not a starlight camera, but instead uses older technology and imaging chip. Hence the reason it's so cheap. If you want a camera that's almost (very close) to the 5231R-Z go with the IPC-HDW4231EM-AS which is Starlight with a fixed lens. It's about $120 from Andy at Empiretec. Finally, the 5231R-Z is not a zoom lens at all, it's a vari-focal. Huge difference, as you can not zoom in and out, just zoom it in or out to get the correct field of view, then leave it there.

cool, the IPC-HDW5231RP-Z is my new favourite camera then. i got one of these and i cant believe the difference between it and the hikvision camera i got 2 years ago, soo much clearer and better at night time.
