Delete thread

I never realised that this site allowed you to delete threads?

Have never tried it but over the last 2 days I’ve replied to some posts only to come back later and find no trace of the post!

Yep, has happened to me several times, I think on some of the same threads!

From my point of view, bit pointless deleting a thread and you’ve ended up wasting the time of all the people that took their time to reply.

Also there was some interesting and pertinent info posted in the thread which others may have found useful.

Well we had an incident yesterday where some dude that never posted here but has been a member a year started a post claiming BI sucks, but never asked for help on what was clearly a user error problem.

Then people jumped on the thread and he deleted it, only to start a new thread, like he wasn't expecting the same comments in a different thread LOL.

I probable pissed them off by calling them lazy... Just this week there was a person complaining about something not working, i requested detailed information and screen shots. No information just more complaining. Glad the person left, just a waste of time.

Yeah, that happened to me as well, I think it was the same dude.
He was bad-mouthing BI support in his first 2 posts after joining a year ago, never would state his problem even when asked...I'm thinking he was getting ready to recommend another VMS, is a shady vendor and the Fendermeister popped his balloon!
