It's a HIKVISION-DS-2TD1217-2-V1 thermal. It's pitch black in that field and use it to keep an eye on coyotes.

There are several places selling older model thermals for cheap now.
But the credit goes to @bp2008 for finding these deals. I would have never paid full price, but 2-300 is totally doable. You don't realize how useful thermal is until you have one.
