So my brothers friend has a camera that had some fogging on lens. I told him I would take a look at it. Lol. First the camera is ugliest I have seen. Second I take camera apart, 2 screws holds on front, remove camera and the cameras mini button style super capacitor that plays as a battery has blown its top. When he took out his Micro SD card the top fell out so no clue what a replacement would be. The camera is from 2015 so it's seen good use.
Reason there is fogging is there is no Gel packs in the camera. He has it mounted 4 feet under a roof or it would have been worse. Some rust on inside screws that hold ir to camera. Besides that and battery camera still works.
Will have to figure out what battery cap it needs. Replace it and add some gel packs.
My son says I have repaired another camera 5 or 6 years ago with same kind of damage. He said there was burnt track from the top shorting out camera. Lucky this one don't have any damage like that.
