Dahua SD49425XB-HNR PTZ Auto track from Andy - Not tracking long enough

I followed the guide from @EMPIRETECANDY , but when the camera follows the moving object, it only stays on it for about 10-15 seconds and then goes back to the preset. I want it to stay at the last known movement for 45-60 seconds, no 15.




What's odd, when I type 50 into Track Time, save, refresh, it goes back to 15....

If you are not using Internet Explorer, time track will always revert to 15 seconds.

Yeah we know, but Internet Explorer is still available.

Having the PTZ stay at last known spot unfortunately doesn't exist. Within a few seconds of losing tracking it goes back to the preset. No setting can override that. A big request that they haven't done.

The best we can do is use fixed cams as spotter cams to try to force it back to set areas.

So even if i use IE11 (I have a VM for stuff like this), and set it to 50s it won't stay on that spot for 50 seconds?

Nope. The 50 seconds is how long it will track for, but if the person or car stops or the camera loses tracking, it goes back to the preset after a few seconds.

That's too bad, there's been times where I'd like it to stay on the delivery guy at the door for more than 15 seconds. :|

Yep, many of us wish that as well, so we use spotter cams to help keep it there for key spots.
