Dahua Motion Detect Snapshot Email

hello,
I have Dahua cameras and NVR set up and wring fine, motion detect recording working well.
At the same time as the MD I have a snapshot sent via email.
Is there any setting that will allow a delay after the MD event before the snapshot is taken?
On a front door cam I am getting visitors feet as they arrive!
I would like to delay 1 or 2 seconds at the most.

I am using my home automation engine to pull and email out camera snapshots, it has a built in delay function thats very useful.

built in communications, you get what you get and have no recourse to make any further modifications.
