Hi.
This is continuing on my post POST where I was bought Dahua IPC-HFW1430DT-STW and been cheated (camera not have HUMAN DETECTION like was described on the box and seller's page).

I need one new WI-FI Dahua SMD camera with Human Detection.

I mean to buy Dahua F4C-PV (hfw1439dq).

My 1430 seems a good camera (even without SMD).
But is it F4C-PV good in that range? And why F4C-PV looks like a toy?

F4C-PV is expensive then 1430, and has two-way communication, light triggering, integrated alarm sound, Human, etc… which all 1430 not have.

I know that IMOU use Dahua tehnology.

For WI-FI, lMOU camera seems better then Dahua. IMOU have "Bullet 3" camera which have Human and Vehcicle Detection!!! Also they are half cheaper.

And Dahua go out with F4C-some unproffesional look with only Human Detection. Can please somebody tell me why that camera looks like a toy????? IMOU wifi looks much better.

Is that same quality cameras, where just "Brand" (Dahua) make camera expensier then IMOU?

Imou dont have any local detection.
They only can do SMD , no IVS

They sent video feed/screenshots to dahua servers. The analyzation is inside the cloud. They only work with their app.

Its works pretty well, but if you want local detection, imou cant do by itself.

For local detection you need better camera or analyze the rtsp feed yourself with frigate or similiar.

Those are the same camera in little different chassis and different firmware.
Imou have little more AI features but those features require Imou protect (cloud service, payable monthly) and works only with ImouLife app.
Dahua version have SMD limited to humans, but this works on cam and don't require any subscription. Works with DMSS...

Both are toys...

At my home for surveillance I have 4x WI-FI Dahua, 1 dome and 3 bullet cams hfw1320SP-w with NVR9804HGW. After 6 years only one died which replaced with IPC-HFW1430DT-STW.

They all working good and serves a purpose. So, they are not toy.
