Dahua DSS7016-D-S2 boot problem!

Hi,

We have Dahua DSS7016-D-S2 with FW ver. V6.08.000.R.20170713.742753
From DahuaWiki site (DahuaWiki) I download FW ver 7. I was unpack it, login to our DSS and from Upgrade firmware option start with upgrade (file inside archive file: General_OverseasDSS7016S2_Eng_Basic_V1.001.0000001.2.R.20201211.BIN)

Everyting starts normal, and when it's done about 80% it stops




After 12h I restarted DSS. Now I cannot start it anymore. I got just black screen with GRUB.

Question: Can I recover firmware with USB? Anyone with ANY solutions? Maybe to upload fresh new firmware from begining?

Hi, I have been working on fix a problem like the one you describe. I found problems on the Grub, the GNU/Linux distro who try to start using hd(0,0) and in my case should be hd(0,2) SSD device. Could you try booting Grub using this change.
