Converting video from bvr

Hi all,
I have a Dahua IP cam, and it records video & audio in the bvr format with BI. This plays back perfectly normally in BI with video & audio.
Today I used UI3 top make an AVI of some footage, and the audio was missing. I then went to my server and did a MP4 export of the same footage, and that also didn't have audio.
Am I missing something simple during these conversions ?

The garage got the wrong parts for my car so I can't fix it. The local hardware shop sold me an outdoor lamp, that when unpacked was found to have a piece of broken glass in it. Hours wasted. Start again !

OK, so I had a look at the UI3 settings, and all looked OK. Hmm, Win10 had reset all file associations over the past few days. Even WORD and Excel. I found the pc was using Win10's "Film and TV" to show the video - no audio ! OK, reset association to my normal viewer (VLC already installed), and all is well.

I knew it would be simple :banghead:
