Continuous recording and motion triggers on 1 or 2 cams?

Currently I have a copy of each camera with the hidden ones just recording 24/7.
Visible one for motion triggers and viewing.
Would it be better to just get rid of the copies and combine recording and motion triggered on the 1 camera view?

What are the pros and cons are both ways?
