connect direct to computer

I have a hikvision camera model #DS-2CD2032-1, can I connect it directly to my computer via the network port? If I can, how do I do it so I can see the camera? I have a 12v power supply and cable. I also have a poe hub that I can use.

best if you have a dumb switch or your PoE switch then connect both your camera and computer to the switch.

Direct might need the use of a x-over cable.
