Clips suddenly missing from BI interface.

Hey all,

Today I logged into my BI machine to find that even though all my clips exist in my nominated folder on the HDD, BI doesn't show any of them. This goes for ALL clips, regardless if they're alerts, cancelled or 'all'.

The calendar view for the clips even indicates that no events were recorded.


I can see the BVR files are all accounted for in the nominated folder on my HDD, extending from today back several months. I can drag any of them into BI and play then back. I can even scrub through my timeline effortlessly and still see alerts from weeks ago up till now, it's just that these clips are missing from the 'clips' list on the left, both within BI and UI3.
Since I set up BI, I have it set to 24h recording in substream, with alerts recorded in mainstream.

I have it set so that once the 6TB drive reaches 5TB full, it starts deleting clips.



Can anyone tell me what's going on here?

Do you do auto updates and what version are you on?

But I suspect you are on 5.6.x.x. and it is a known issue...repair/regen your database.

Thanks @wittaj, you're right, I'm on 5.6.1.3 and repair/regen my database worked.

For anyone else wondering, I just right-clicked in the left pane where my clips should've been, then selected 'database' -> 'repair/regenerate'.
