Trying to test out BI to see if it will work for what I need however i keep striking out.
Running CodeProject and BI on a i9-14900HX, 96GB, 4070RTX. Keep getting the Check FPS/key rates. Turned off ONVIF Verification in the dahua camera. Direct to disk. H264

The live view is lagging so much that when i have OVIF alerts turned on its so behind that when it gets triggered its already past

Any help would be appreciated

Try a factory reset of the camera. Many have seen the new camera GUI is funky with BI until a reset.

Also try 15FPS and 15 Iframes.

If neither works then it is likely a network issue.

Been bitten by the 'new out-of-the-box camera behavior oddity' bug too many times.

Now my standard practice is to perform two consecutive factory resets before setting anything beyond the basic network settings

You would have to set up again from scratch.

And yeah my standard practice is now 3 factory resets when I first get a camera.

I do 10fps, 5 iframe, this fixed the issue for me, maybe give that a shot. You can see what the camera detects in the stats window in BI.

Switch the sub stream and have the sub stream running live. Now the main stream runs smooth. The other issue im running into is the vehicle will get picked up by code project however never the plate.

Also the recognition times are extremely slow.. especially with GPU

You are sending too much too CPAI if you are only interested in plates; try there settings (except "to confirm", leave that blank)

I’ll give those a shot. It’s just weird that even the CP.AI explorer was taking 2000ms with a gpu.

Could it be because of the CUDA version? It’s 12.2 and 9.8 CUDNN
