Changing brightness automatically between day and night modes (NHD-820)

I have a Swann NHD-820 .

At night I need low brightness setting (4%) in order to get decent facial recognition without washout.
During day I need brightness 50% to get good looking video.

The 820 can switch automatically between day and night mode based on light levels.

Does anyone know of a way to have the brightness change without me having to do it manually twice a day?

@dan_man On the hikvisions if you select scheduled change rather than auto you have the option of different settings for night and day...may be the same on the swann firmware..
You might also want to try and use smart ir and see if that helps with the washout...
