Cat 6 cable/connector and crimp tool selection

I already have the Klein VDV226-107 compact crimp tool.

I plan on getting the CAT 6 UTP bulk roll;

Good choice?

What connector would be best to use with that cable and the crimper mentioned? I tried the IDEAL brand 3 piece and hated it. The insert did not have passthrough so the cable length had to be exact before crimping. Very hit/miss.
Anybody use the Platinum 3 piece modular connectors?;

Their video on the Platinum website looked great, but there are 2 bad reviews on Amazon out of only 2 users. Not a very good feeling for a product that has been out for a few years.

I'm getting to like the monoprice RJ45. 3 piece, the conductors pass through the thimble/carrier.
