Have a strange use case where things need to be overlayed and then streamed out to other PCs to watch as well as recording the composited image with overlay, the current solution is to run OBS (Open Broadcaster Software | Download) on a PC with a few USB analog capture sticks and analog cameras, but the readability of the items details is now too low because its SD rubbish.
Was thinking of swapping the board cameras out to AHD ones since that has done wonders for security camera quality. But getting the video into the PC is a problem. Could possibly use a NVR and get the streams off that as sources but trying that with a analog DVR had all sorts of problems with them going out of sync with each other making the composited images pretty useless when things are leaving on one camera before arriving on another one.
So anyone know of a reasonable way to get capture of HD analog into a PC in a form that can be used by OBS?
