Can't figure out face detection on IPC-HDW5231R-ZE

I followed all the steps to setup face detection on my camer, walked infornt of it to test, checked the events and there's nothing there. I'm not sure if I'm missing something? Anybody know how to properly set this up. My camera is model is an

Its a gimmick, pretend it doesnt exist.

The ivs works but you have much more flexibility with BI.

The motion detection works if that's what you're asking. I don't neccesarily need face recognition but person/body recgognition would be nice.
