Cannot access DS-2CD2042 with browser(S)

Hi,
I have multiple DS-2CD2042 cameras and now cannot access them with any browser, I get browser not supported.
Running 5.5.82_190220_0 3/17/2023
I have a number of DS-2CD2085 as well and I can access those with Edge/opera.

I have tried setting Edge in IE mode but no dice, same error.

I looked to see if there was new firmware on HIK site, but that camera isnt listed.. (I could get old PC with IE still on it and update is what I was thinking)

Any suggesstions on how to access and if new firmware will fix it?

Try plain Ole Internet Explorer. Yeah we all know it isn't supported but many of these cameras are still that browser dependent and none have issued firmware updates to address it.

I am good with that, but on Windows 10 it seems like it automaticly converted IE into edge. Is there a way to download an IE installable that Windows won't update?
I'm not quite sure how this is working with Microsoft

Explorer is still there and there are ways to get Explorer again.

The simple way is to change the BHO folder to another name like oldBHO and BAM Explorer is back...and this thread also shows other ways...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\110.0.1512.48\

Then change BHO to oldBHO or something else and Explorer will open

I tested it home and everything seemed OK, but when I installed it at my summer cottage, something dont work. All setup was done at home and the only change hereafter was SADP to change gateway and ip No. I have a large memory card - 256 GB and can be seen in storage and worked at home. But...
