Can indoor dome cameras be adapted for outdoor use?

Just a general question but I assume besides a lack of desiccant packets would it be the seals around the camera that would prevent indoor rated cameras for outdoor use? Is it possible to add a gasket to a camera if it lacks one? What else would prevent someone from using a indoor rated hikvision dome (DS-2CD5126G0-IZS) camera outside under a eave?

If its not outdoor rated foget it. water will get in. Dome will have ir reflection issues.
