I am looking to temporarily move a camera about 200-300 feet away from my garage. I have power down there but no internet. I have 2 old routers wondering if it is possible to hook the camera to a router using the bridge mode or as a wireless access point and relay back to the gargae router? Since this is temporary I did not want to spend any money on devices yet.

In some case, yes...it depends on the feature set of the router(s). You'd have to consult your router's guide, use your Google Fu, etc.
I had an old Linksys WRT-54G that would operate as AP or client bridge but the firmware was DD-WRT, not the stock Linksys. Those can be found on eBay for $20.
You might also consider using a pair of Power Line Adapters since you have power. I would use them over any wireless setup, the exception being a $100 Ubiquiti Layer 2 Transparent Bridge.
