I also searched to see if anyone has created an Excel spreadsheet of the cameras available (yes, it would be huge) showing their features and possibly prices.
Having started my own using a few recommended cams I note that it sure is a PITA to make but wouldn't be too difficult to maintain.
Is there one already existing?

We (IPVM) have aCamera Finder that might help. It's freemium, part of the results are members only, part is public. It might help for scanning through different options. We do keep it up to date and we add cameras daily for both that and our Camera Calculator.
