On my house I have the old school dual floodlights at each corner. Prev "system" was a couple of wifi cams that screw into the floodlight sockets. This worked well for cam positioning but with poe cams going up, this creates a dilemma for me. I'd like to keep the floodlights operational and want the cams as close to the corner as possible, but I'm concerned abt possible elec interference and the soffit reflecting light into the cams.

At the same time, I'm thinking that placing the lights away from the cams would be better in regards to attracting bugs. Thoughts?

Bugs can be a royal pain for excess motion. even with IVS cams. Having said that LOL my driveway cam is within 1 foot of my floodlight, which stays off unless its motion unit is triggered. I dont have optimal settings on this old 3241 ZAS, needs change here in the seasons. the Carriage lights (3 of em) provide decent light. They are all on motion except one which is on dawn/dusk.
