This morning, one of my cams had hundreds of these alerts from my Unifi network controller. It's really strange because the IP of the camera is 192.168.1.216. I reset the port and the camera goes offline within a few seconds. Anyone else with a Unifi network experience this. Do I need to add some firewall rules to resolve this? Thanks!

I temporarily turned off the Unifi Security Detections and the camera still doesn't stay online more than a few seconds after it reboots. I also did a factory reset and the problem remains. Time to reach out to Andy and ask him.

The cam has failed for some reason and is in a boot loop defaulting back to the 192.168.1.108 address and looking for a TFTP server at the 192.168.254.254:69 address/port.

I've not had to try recover one so I'll let someone else answer that part but that's why Unifi is alerting you to the TFTP traffic.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I brought the cam inside and now it won't even power up.

Maybe change the title to something about recovering a cam and maybe someone can help.

There's some info here:
