Hi there,
I am currently building a new computer system for my in-laws and have a few questions. They have 8 cameras running to an nvr and monitor that were placed in a terrible location for reviewing so I want to build a computer system for their home office to access/review the recordings. My question is, do I need a very powerful computer (i7) for these 8 cameras running off an NVR or can I get away with a cheaper system (i3 or i5) seeing as the NVR does most of the work and the computer will only be used for reviewing? The computer will be used for basic internet and email otherwise.
Would I be using IVMS PCCLIENT to access the NVR?
Thanks for your time!
