Whats the best method to keep bug and spiders from nesting around the cameras and causing false alarms?

Shut off the IR in a bullet camera and use an external IR illuminator, located a foot or two away. Replace the bullet camera with a turret, not a dome, but a turret camera.

I second the turret cams. Also once or twice a year I will spray some of that Ortho Home Defense Max around the area outside of my cams.

Amazon has this but be careful. Same stuff as in most bug sprays..instead of 0.1% it's 10%.
