An intrepid buck decided that tonight's thunderstorm was a good time to explore the neighborhood.

Turn on your audio for this one. This video just didn't feel right without a soundtrack. So, I made one to match. Four layers of audio effects later, it is more fun to watch. I'm a bit early with the thunderclaps, but just pretend the lightning was really close. The buck had a hitch in its gait. That conveniently made a horse trot match.

Wow, nice rack! (Nevermind, @Arjun)......:lmao:

Love ALL your videos.

I noticed his limp as well; being he's quite mature it could be either an old sparring injury or arthritis....I know that feeling as well. The buck is probably saying to himself as he covers some of the same territory more than once " Damn, Google maps had me turn down this path and it's NOT working out well."

Yes, I actually watched the whole thing! The soundtrack quality is superb. There is something about black and white videos that often make them much better to watch than the color ones. :thumb:

I kept thinking about how nice it would be to get some of that water where I live . . . maybe in another month when fair week arrives in town it'll arrive on schedule.

I hear ya. It's crunchy and dusty here too.
I washed my truck Thursday as my "rain dance".
Maybe this upcoming week I'll pull the roof off the house, pour a new cement driveway and haul a couch and a mattress to somewhere in my trailer with no tarp....that should do it. :headbang:

I keep the ground cover, shrubs, and tree area wet, but the grass is crunchy when I walk on it and you can see the shoe prints. The grass will bounce back once it get some good rain from above.

It's been in the mid and high 90's for several weeks now and hit 100° F here yesterday which certainly doesn't help matters much.
