Running Essentials+. I've been recording solely Motion Started/Stopped (HW) with motion detection disabled on the server. Then I decided to start recording Continuously. Problem is now I can only get motion events on the timeline if I enable motion detection on the server. Motion Started/Stopped (HW) rule doesn't work alongside Record Always rule. Is this possible? If not, it seems like a major flaw to not be able to offload motion analytics to camera hardware. The camera smart detection features in Hik and Dahua are far more capable.
Both Continuous recordings and Motion Events (HW) on timeline possible?
