I am having issues with maintenance cycles on my recordings constantly uploading to my NAS despite storage on the local machine not full. I think this is then impacting other things like AI confirmation and general system performance.
I am using a Lenovo ThinkCentre M70s 11DB with an i7 10th gen
1 -- M.2 NVMe 512GB
1 -- SATA mechanical 3TB
16GB RAM
Gbit ethernet (wired)
NAS
8TB RAID1
STORAGE TAB BI:
NEW:
local to mechanical drive
set to 800GB
limit age to 30 days
move to STORED folder
STORED:
stored on LAN NAS
set to 450GB
limit age to 60 days
set to DELETE
ALERT:
local to mechanical drive
set to 750GB
limit age to 30 days
move to STORED folder
MOTION_ALERT:
local to mechanical drive
set to 2000GB
limit age to 30 days
move to DROP DOWN IS EMPTY AND CANNOT SET
i have other questions related to general best practices with recordings and triggers but i feel like that is a huge rabbit hole and would like to first understand my storage configuration first.
